Zaffran Indian Cuisine

We visited this restaurant on 12/28 and happy to share that the food was amazingly good. We tried Malai kofta and palak paneer with spice naan. I guess this is the first time we had really good indian food in AC .. otherwise usually we have to compromise on taste. The ambience and cleanliness is kind of ok but can be impoverished.

The female owner is very nice. We were 11 people in a group and she managed to serve us very well. No words about food, that was very delicious. We liked it. Whenever I go to Atlantic city, I will definitely go to Zaffran.

Absolutely loved this place. The customer service and the food were equally great. The buttermilk chicken and the garlic chilli naan are a must have. The server was very attentive and kept checking on us. I'm definitely going to be visiting this spot when I'm in AC.

Only some dishes were good. Lassi was worst as it was already spoiled curd and was tasting bit like raita!

The people are very nice and provide great hospitality. They have many vegetarian options which is a plus point for many families. Overall, the experience was great, the food was great. We had people in our group would did not have much experience with Indian cuisine, yet they still enjoyed themselves and their food.This is a great option for eating out in Atlantic City NJ.

Female owner is very nice, dealt us with very great gesture. I personally advice u guys, just come here.Great food, great taste. It's not possible to review with 7 stars, otherwise I would have given them. "Zaffran Indian cuisine" made my day 😀😀

First time eating Indian food!!! It was very good..if you have GERD I will not recommend this place. 😂 They didn't get my order right either..but they were willing to fix it quickly.

Best Indian cuisine restaurant in AC. The Chicken Achari and Chicken Curry was simply amazing . Loved the Moong dal halwa as well.

The food was really good and tasty . The host Rocky was amazing . He accommodated all our needs . He personally made us some food too . Hospitality high , food - excellent . Good Indian food made with lots of love. Highly recommend this place .

Authentic Indian food away from India. One of the best Chicken and Mutton recipes I tried in US comes from this place. Do check it out on your trip to Atlantic City.

I personally have not dined here, but I have picked up food and dropped off for doordash, several times, to customers who were from India. I asked them" how is their food compared to others? "; everyone told me good and no complaints. After the various authentic assessments, I feel pretty good about giving 5 stars for the food. Through my experience at the restaurant, I can personally say the owners are very nice people and the restaurant appears very clean.

Had a very nice experience here. First of all, the aura was quite something to start with. The music was quite soothing and we were served very well. The food was good too. You should try mango lassi. Pakora was good but little spicy. Kulfi was an extra something. I would like to come here again.

I was working and I wanted some Indian food! This place right here hits the spot I had some chicken tikka masala with rice, ordered me some garlic naan and the dahi puri!! Simply delicious! I’ll be back to try more! This is a must try place!!

Decided to stay in Atlantic City for the weekend and my wife and I were craving curry. Food was great! Service was quick. Best tikka masala. The owners were wonderful and made a point to come and ask how we were doing. Can't wait to come back.

This place is great. They charge for a water in a cup of which should be free. Food is less quantity for a greater cost. Not sure what to think. This place has only 3 people with only 22 tables. they force you to buy water bottles. This is definitely not chicken 65.

Such a great experience! Very close to the Showboat Hotel and worth the walk. The recommended dishes were so delicious!

If you can overlook the chipped serving bowls, the food actually was very tasty. They make it to your taste.

There was piece of glass in my ordered food. Waiter was having no idea from where the glass piece came. Rude service.Also, please check the bill before paying. For us, they added laccha paratha which we didn't have. It was removed from the bill after I pointed out.

I had been with my friends on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The food is really good. Had gobi machurian, vegetable biryani, masala papad in veg and my friends had chicken 65, tandoori tikka chicken, everything is really tasty. Biryanis are not dumb as in the menu they mentioned "Chicken Biryani" ended with a masala chai. Giving 5 star :)

I've eaten here a decent amount of times and never really had much of an issue with the food. My last few visits, the food was no where near the quality I was expecting. Most recently, I ordered naan and when I got my food home, I noticed something smelled burnt, and that's when I found the majority of the naan I ordered was very crispy, like a chip and the garlic was burnt. The masala barely had any chicken it, which has been an issue before. There was more sauce than anything which was really weird. I don't plan on ordering from here again, which is unfortunate because I prefer not to have to drive to EHT to get Indian food, but I had to and I won't name the other restaurant, but I will say there was no issue with portion and quality.

Food was not cooked properly. Service guy took it really lightly to our concerns. Prices not match with quality + unnecessary additional charges.. I request owner to take care of all these customer feedbacks.

Very fast service and the food is very good.

We went to Atlantic city on Vacation. During the daytime the some kids in our group ate some not so good Pizza at and got sick to the way to dinner at the Zaffron restaurant. The Lady owner was very nice an caring gave some ginger-ale and Lemon, and fennel seed water, made them feel better. I expecting average food, but the food was very good. Freshly made, good quality. Good recommendation.

Utensils were dirty. Need more customer serving skills. Food was good though.

Great food, service is a bit slow but the food tastes very authentic

Went to this restaurant while on vacation and being south Indian, I enjoyed the food as it met my spice standards. I brought my non-Indian friends along and they also enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and the lady who served us was nice and informative as well. Definitely would recommend for those looking for authentic good Indian cuisine in Atlantic City.

Very Good food and very good staff. Walkable from boardwalk. If you are in AC and craving for Indian food, you must visit there.

I must say they have best indian pakistani food and its halal also . I really enjoyed the food and it was fresh . The owner Vinod is very nice guy and take care of his customers . Must try if you in Atlantic city

Amazing! Authentic indian taste as far as vegetarian food is concerned.

So if let me start off by saying this restaurant is under NEW MANAGEMENT, and they are changing everything! My family and I went to this restaurant for the first time today and before going any where new I usually look at the reviews online. DONT LISTEN TO THE OLD REVIEWS!!!!! Zaffran is honestly one of the best Indian food restaurants around and believe me I've tried them all in the South Jersey area plus I'm Indian so I know a little something something about Indian food. Don't take my word for it go try the food for yourself. A couple of recommendations the butter chicken, garlic naan, and for sure a veg somosa!

Went there last weekend and we liked it. We normally go to a different restaurant but wanted to try different this time .. food was good. Biryani was actually very good. Veggie stuff was average.. 65 was awesome. Overall a good experience .. service was good too..

Went to this restaurant two weeks ago. Food was delicious. My dad who is visiting from india enjoyed as well. If you want to try indian food and around this area, I highly recommend to visit. We will be going there again next time!

A beautiful Indian restaurant in Atlantic City, it is characterized by its beautiful location, the presence of parking lots, the taste of Indian food, and bread of all kinds, but it is faulty for its high price a little.

Loved the food here. We tried chili garlic naan, goat bhuna, chicken makhani and everything was delicious. We got here hungry and got out very satisfied. Gotta come back here whenever we come back to AC.

The chilli chicken and butter chicken masala were delicious. The portions are a little smaller than expected. Definitely one of the very few good indian spots.

I love this place. The Food is always fresh and delicious. I love ZAFFRAN Biryani especially. Quick Service. Nice Atmosphere and decent price. The only reason i gave this place 4 out of 5 is because they always have the utensil laying on the table without napkins. Even though table looks clean but they should at least put napkins underneath it.

Amazing food. You can tell it’s freshly made. The quality of the food is marvelous. They served us well even when we came an hour before closing time.
